'Easter Cracked'

On the 20th March, the Year 6 children walked to St. Martins church to take part in the 'Easter Cracked' workshop. They spent the afternoon learning about the christian beliefs behind Easter and about the significant parts of the Easter story. They were focusing on the surprise elements of each key event that occurred. We learnt lots of vocabulary which is important to Christians and some lucky children won a Cadbury's Creme Egg in the Easter egg hunt.  At the end of the session, to congratulate them for all of their hard work, they decorated Easter cupcakes and enjoyed them on the walk back to school!  A fantastic time was had by all and we would like to thank Reverend Noelle and all of the other members of St Martins church who made the afternoon enjoyable.
